Ingredients for 4 servings
- 2 large or 4 smaller pears
- 80 g almonds or walnuts
- 100 g raisins
- 2 tablespoons jam or one tablespoon of barley malt
- a pinch of cinnamon
- pinch of salt
Wash the pears, split and remove the kernel (make the hole bigger for more stuffing). Do not peel. Pour hot water over raisins. Then drain and chop them. Chop also almonds and mix all it with jam, salt and cinnamon. Make thick stuffing. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C and stuff the pears. Put on a baking sheet. Bake for about 30-40 minutes.
Bake the pears until they are soft enough.
To make the hole for stuffing use a spoon for melons or just normal sharper spoon.
You can stuff also apples.
Baked fruit with nuts is suitable for children from about 1.5 years. For smaller kids you can steam the fruit and don’t use stuffing.
